Villa Jacqueline Cabo
SAN JOSE DEL CABO, BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR
The Village of San Jose Del Cabo is about 15 minutes from the House. Famous for it's historic art and restaurant district it provides a variety of dining and night life options. Tuesday nights some of the cobble stone streets are closed off to traffic and local music groups are performing in the street. Thursday night is the famous Art Walk and all of the art galleries open their doors late. Often with the artists in residence answering questions and showing off their latest creations. A wide variety of restaurants and wine/cocktail bars serve to every taste. San Jose also provides ample shopping opportunities.
PUERTO LOS CABOS - MARINA
Villa Jacqueline is in the Fundadores section of the Puerto Los Cabos development area. Puerto Los Cabo has a large Marina providing berth for both sailing yachts and motor boats up to 70 feet in length with a few berth for boats of 100 feet and longer. Various charter options are available from Pongas run by local fishermen all the way to the most luxurious deep see fishing/cruising boats. The Dolphin Discovery Center allows you to swim with dolphins in a specially protected area. Whale watching trips are popular between November and March when Gray Whales are in the area giving birth to their offspring.

PUERTO LOS CABOS - GOLF
Puerto Los Cabos (PLC) currently features 27 holes. A newly completed 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, and an additional 9 hole Greg Norman Signature Course, PLC offers one of the most unique golf experience in all of Los Cabos with stunning views of the Sea of Cortez from 70% of the golf course. With two comfort stations on each 9 serving food and beverages, you are never more than a couple of holes away from your next taco or margarita. http://puertoloscabos.com/golf/
CABO PULMO AND THE EAST CAPE
PLC is the last development area in San Jose. Traveling about two hours north you reach the tiny village of Cabo Pulmo. A 17,500-acre Marine Protected Area (MPA), is one of the most successful national marine parks in the world and arguably offers the best diving and snorkeling in Baja. It's also home to the only Pacific coral reef in the Sea of Cortez. You don't need a 4WD to enjoy the drive out here along the spectacular Eastern Cape (from the south) coastal road or through the Sierra de la Laguna (to the west) although the road can get rough at times. You will escape the crowds and find a very mellow scene that can be hard to leave. https://www.lonelyplanet.com/mexico/cabo-pulmo
